Hi I’m Tiana

I grew up in the wild and exquisite mountains of Colorado, raised by the immense power and beauty of snow covered peaks, glacially carved valleys, and winding rivers. My environment is a part of me, and in this sense, I draw inspiration from the imperfect and harmonious balance that nature displays.

My academic background is in Cognitive Systems and Philosophy, and therefore I thrive at the intersection of aesthetics and meaning.

My design ethos is deeply rooted in existential philosophy - inspired by philosophers Neitzsche, Sartre, and Beauvoir - who consider the human condition as a creational work of art - unfolding and emerging intently with each difficulty and each joy.

I approach design from a place of curiosity and understanding. I am deeply empathetic, innately attuned to other people, and I strive to inquire into others experiences, to understood and see different perspectives. In my ability to step into other peoples worlds, I am able to see as they would, to feel as they would, and therefore create what they desire.
